I can't say that Leviticus is one of my favorite books of the Bible. However, this morning as I am reading about oozing sores, body discharges, bleeding and the like, I'm once again reminded of the awesomeness of the Bible. This is because of the foreknowlege of the Bible.
Let me explain. We read these verses and say, 'yep that's what we do.' That's how not to spread germs. But sometimes we don't realize that the medical industry didn't realize that until the late 1800's, early 1900's. Moses writes these practices down some 2300 years earlier. How could he know? God inspired him to write these practices down.
You can trust the Bible. It will always be right. May not make sense now, but it will. The Bible is not outdated; it is timeless.
