Psalms 19:14  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Yesterday while I was preparing for the sermon this coming Sunday, I was wondering why the younger son, in Luke 15, decided to ask for his inheritance.  Think about it.  It wasn't socially acceptable.  It wasn't respectful.  But he did it anyway.  When I read Psalms 19:14 this morning it dawned on me, he had been have thoughts for a while about this.  Thoughts like, 'my dad is taking more than he is giving,' 'I'd be better off away from my father.'  Over time the emotions caused by the thinking were overwhelming and he did what he did.

We all gravitate toward our dominate thought.  Whether it is good or bad.

Lord Jesus, let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to You, Mmy Lord and my Redeemer.

God Bless You,

Have a great day,

Tom
